Exciting Times - we have eventually launched our new Caterpillaryarns.com website. This is a project that has been some time in the making and really is a build on to the successful Sunflower Cottage Crochet business which has for four years now been providing help and assistance for crocheters and providing high quality patterns for everyone from beginners to advanced crocheters.
The aim for Caterpillar Yarns is to become one of the biggest wool and kit distributors in the UK and USA. We have already brought on a significant number of high quality brands including: King Cole, West Yorkshire Sipllers, Sirdar, Wendy Wool, and James C Brett. We will be adding more brands and widening the rage as quickly and often as possible.
Although the site has grown from a crochet business we will be providing the knitting enthusiasts too. We want to give all hobbiests the best experience we possibly can.

Hello! I'm Helen. I am wife to Richard and mother to one 11 year old daughter who is growing up way to quickly for my liking! I am also the designer and blogger behind Sunflower Cottage Crochet. I have been a crocheter for 28 years (eek, that makes me feel so old) and have been designing for the last 4 years. Crochet is something that I am very passionate about. At this point my husband would probably say it was more of an obssession. I have tried knitting a few times but I do prefer crochet. Caterpillar Yarns is a project that I will be running alongside Sunflower Cottage Crochet and I am so excited to be able to bring you all some of my favourite yarns at the best prices I can get them for you! I just adore this Wendy Husky yarn ... the colourways are so gorgeous and it works up beautifully. I hope you love what we do at Caterpillar as much as we love doing it! |

Hello Everyone! I am Lyndsey. I am mum to 2 gorgeous girls aged 6 and 9. In a past life I was a carer but I am thrilled to have the opportunity to spread my wings and be part of the Caterpillar Yarns team with Helen. This is something completely new for me and I will be learning a lot as I go but I am looking forward to the challenge and enabling all of the crafters out there to continue to have fun doing what you love. Have you seen the James C Brett Marble Chunky? I am in love with this colourway - it is so pretty and feminine. And so squishy!! |
